Anti-Inflammatories Slow Tissue Repair

This was the title of an article that caught my eye as I was perusing the latest Runner's World articles.  Intrigued  because ibuprofen has always been a standard recommendation for running injuries (at least what I've heard).  In fact, when I was dealing with a hamstring issue in college, the trainer told me to take 4 ibuprofen 3x a day (so 12 total a day!)  But now reading this article, I may have to rethink how to deal with injuries.  It did say, however, to deal with inflammation and pain that NSAIDS can help with swelling and pain, but to only take them for a day or two.
